The prong on my cord to charge my electric wheelchair charger fell off last night and I found it this morning when it fell on the floor, when I was getting into my wheelchair. I only had two bottles of water and like two rolls of paper towels, I was all outta hand sanitizer that I wash my hands with after I go to the bathroom. I
thought that I could make it to cub foods and back and I was
almost home, then all of a sudden my wheelchair shut off. I heard some nice young lady's voice about a minute later and she asked me if I needed help. I told her that my wheelchair ran outta juice but I was
almost home. She asked where I lived and I didn't know how to explain it to her, but I said,"just around the corner." then I showed her how to put the wheelchair in manual and she pushed it and her young son carried one of my bags, then her husband drove next to us, while she was pushing me, and asked,"need any help? You can drive and I'll push, if you want.." then she said,"no thanks, she lives just up here she said." then they got me to my apartment and when I was brushing my teeth about 5 minutes later, my phone rings (because she wanted my cell phone number and she gave me hers), sh said that she got me a new walker (because sh seen that I wrecked my other one when I ran it over a few weeks ago and the wheel fell off). I think that God is
probably trying to tell me to get my ass outta this wheelchair and he's fuckin up my things so that I can't use it anymore. Whatever.. It's basically for convenience anyway, also so they don't stick me in a fucking nursing home but I even asked the physical therapist, Shane, what I had to do in order for me not to have to use it and he just shrugged his shoulders and said," just don't use it." I wanted to give those people something for helping me but I didn't know what to give them because I've learned Nottingham to keep money on me (YES,
even in my
OWN apartment). While the woman was pushing me, I felt like crying because it showed there
are still good people in this world.
